Food as Medicine: An Evening with Bob Quinn

Bob Quinn is an innovative 3rd generation farmer from Big Sandy, MT. Quinn has combined his groundbreaking ideas and entrepreneurial spirit to become a respected spokesman for the organic food industry in the U.S. and worldwide. His cropping systems include the development and marketing of an ancient grain under the KAMUT trademark now grown by OVER 150 organic farmers across Montana and parts of Canada on over 100,000 acres. Quinn’s strong values of food as medicine have also supported his innovative organic and sustainable agriculture models.
Bob Quinn’s direct experience with the seed industry and strong philosophy of the link between healthy food production and the reduction of chronic disease will tie in with Helena Community Garden’s vision for access to healthy food for all.
